Projector Bikes were made in 2011 for the Taboo exhibition at the old Tel-Aviv Central Bus Station (curators: Michal Rivlin and Roi Fabian). It was installed again in 2014 as part of The Giving Tree exhibition at the Um El Fahm Gallery.
The original installation was in the dilapidated basement of the central bus station building that had stood abandoned for over ten years. The building was not connected to the grid, so the work had to produce its own power.
The images projected are of a man peeing, a young tree, and a woman peeing. The projection only works when the bikes are pedalled, and only as bright as the pedalling allows.
