The sundial required more than a little research - to find the precise angle for the riser (it is related to the lattitude - so, for example, a sundial that works in Europe would be inaccurate in the Middle East) and the angles for the different hours.
L. had requested that the dial be weather-resistant. I decided to coat it with ceramic shards - Gaudi-like. The lines are made of strips of glass.
